Kissmet is an East West band at the forefront of the British Asian fusion scene that combines elements of Bhangra, Rock and classical Indian Raags to create a truly unique blend of ‘grass roots’ Anglo Indian music. Fronted by two UK born Sikh brothers, they are developing a safe platform for all to walk upon regardless of creed, colour or religion.

They have performed at over 200 International festivals including headlining the Rainforest World Music Festival in Malaysia, Glastonbury (the UK’s largest festival), The Ollinkan World Music Festival in Mexico, Ireland’s Festival of World Cultures, The World Village Festival in Finland, The Orange World Music Festival in Poland, The Edinburgh Hogmanay Festival (Europe’s largest New Year’s Eve Party), The Larmer Tree Festival (UK), The Electric Picnic (Ireland), Summer Sundae (UK), Cardiff Castle (Wales), Kelso Castle (Scotland) and many others so we’re feeling very luck to be able to add Kingsbridge Food and Music Festival to that list!

The band will be using the festival as a warm up to their performance at the WOMAD Folk Festival the following weekend… tickets there cost £145, but you’ll get to see them in Kingsbridge for free so let’s be sure to get them in full swing and give them a huge South Devonshire welcome!
