OUT TO GRASS are six experienced musicians who have delved back to their collective roots and forged a fresh and innovative fusion of bluegrass, country, soul and pop — performed with an energy you wouldn’t expect from a band a third their age!

The band features full-on vocal harmonies accompanied by Richard Barretts superb fiddle and mandolin playing, Mark Hughes’ mountain banjo picking and the ethereal sounds of Mike Barnshaw’s resophonic guitar. The driving rhythm section includes Colin Boyd on bass, Jim Bond on guitar, and Ronnie Cox on guitar and harmonica.

Their live performances are becoming legendary, showcasing superb musicianship combined with a great sense of fun, leaving audiences screaming for more. (Or was it the door?)
